Kids Say The Darndest Things

One son was looking to take his daily vitamin. He tried in vain
to take the lid off the bottle.
Seeing the frustration,Iexplained it was a child-proof cap and I’d have to
open it for him. Eyes wide with wonder, he
asked: ‘How does it know it’s me?’
Two of my sons were going to visit their grandparents and as they were nearing the driveway the 4 year old asked “Where are we going?”
Looking up as they turned into their driveway my seven year old said loudly, “Oh, we’re going to the old people’s house.”
My mom, thinking surely he didn’t mean her asked later that evening, “Who are the old people, Evan?”
He replied, “You and Pappaw.”
