My First Not Me Monday!

I had to do a Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Boy, could I fill a lot of posts if I had started this blog a long time ago!

I guess you have to start somewhere…and Easter Sunday would be the best time…

While packing to get ready to go to South Carolina for the weekend to attend Easter Services, I packed the diaper bag and added a bottle to feed the baby on the drive.
I did NOT run out of time to feed her before we left.
My dear son Galen did not pick it up and ask me if he could help me by bringing it to the van. I did NOT say yes and then proceed to remind him to pick up his room before we left. He did NOT carry the diaper bag to his room upstairs and did NOT leave it in his room when his dad called him to the van.
The diaper bag was NOT left in his room all weekend and I did NOT forget it was there until I read another Not Me Monday post at http://www.RaisingOlives.com about forgetting a diaper bag! NO! Not Me!

Oh, I did NOT pack a skirt that I had just gotten out for spring without washing or looking at it.:) I would NOT have had to ask my hostess for scotch tape in hopes of hiding the hole and have to wear the skirt to church on Easter. I did NOT almost not fit into said skirt since I did NOT blow my diet after babies number 8 and 9.

My 4 year old son did NOT sit next to me on the couch 2 weeks ago and look at my tummy and say,”Mommy,you have another baby in there.”

I did NOT in an attempt to include my children in chores give my 7 year old a bucket of grass seed in our basement last Saturday and he did NOT take 2 steps and spill the whole bucket. He and the 4 year old did not spread the seed on my newly mulched flower beds. No, NOT my children…they do exactly as they are told.

I was NOT almost late for church on Saturday because I was up late Saturday night trying to figure out this blog stuff. I did NOT enjoy my baby a little too long that morning and I was NOT stuffing a bagel into the mouth of my 2 year old as we went out the door. I did not sigh and leave the kitchen a mess! I did NOT arrive at church to find that coffee and breakfast was being served!

I did NOT find a bottle of molasses in my basement that had hole puched in the lid. I did NOT find it by following a sticky black trail around the basement. It was NOT of of my children that had poked the molasses lid with who knows what. My children would never leave a mess and no one would ever walk or ride their bikes through it. No NOT my kids!

I am sure I have forgotten something! I’ll get pics as I get the hang of it!
